Classroom news

We will be reviewing this week so we will be ready for testing Friday. Next week we are going to be busy celebrating the Christmas holiday. We will only go half a day on Wednesday. I hope everyone has a very safe and merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Gingerbread Week

After reading the books The Gingerbread Cowboy and The Gingerbread Girl, we decided who the characters were in each book, what the settings in each book was and the problem/solution in each story.  Next, we decided how the two books were alike and different.   Finally the children decided which story they liked best and wrote why.

This is a couple example of a writing activity the children did after reading the two books.
